The annual Canadian Walk for Veteran's as been hosted in Abbotsford, Bc, at Mill Lake Park by One Veterans society and invites Canadians to walk shoulder to shoulder in recognition of our military and veterans. This year marks the third annual Canadian walk for Veterans in Abbotsford and this year 1922 joined in on the walk with cadets getting to meet veterans and hear their stories as well as getting to explore some of the cool equipment the Canadian Military Education center has to show off!
the cadets of 1922 got to participate in a conjoint flag party between correctional service of canada and members of 1922 RCACC and also handed out water bottles to people participating in the park or for those who needed it as well as getting to connect in the community more and even started a new tradition.

What started out as a friendly wager between two cadets turned into something bigger, Sgt. Ross was getting due for a haircut and has been putting it off for a while and one of his senior's asked how much for him to shave his head and at the Canadian Walk for Veteran's was Shear performance barbershop located in Abbotsford, Bc, was offering free hair cuts for veterans. Sgt. Ross said 10 bucks and then 10 turned into 50 then 50 into 120, as officers, veterans, and passerby's heard the commotion going on and people started raising money for Veteran's because of Sgt. Ross needing a haircut.
