In communities across the country, the local cadet corps are connected to their local legions. This Army Cadet corps has spent the past couple of years strengthening their bond by helping with Remembrance Day, candlelight ceremonies, and the legion providing a space for the corps' annual mess dinner.

On Thursday, February 28th, 2025, in a touching display of support, Legion branch 265 in Aldergrove made a significant donation to 1922 RCACC, ensuring the next generation of young cadets have the necessary resources to continue their journey in learning, discipline, and leadership.

The cadet corps is a program that has long been a pillar in shaping young citizens into responsible, engaged members of society. It provides them with opportunities to learn about leadership, teamwork, and the importance of community service. For many cadets, these experiences leave an indelible mark, guiding them in both their personal and professional lives as they grow.

The generous donation from the local legion is not just about financial support, but about fostering a sense of unity between generations. It is a recognition that the sacrifices made by those who have served in the military have paved the way for the freedoms and opportunities young people enjoy today. It is also a way to ensure that those who are shaping the future continue to carry forward the values of duty, integrity, and commitment that the legion represents.
